Define what safeguarding is
Describe the difference between strategic and operational roles
Give an overview of the governing board/trust's role in relation to safeguarding
Explain the role of the safeguarding link governor
Explain the role of Ofsted in relation to safeguarding
This course is designed specifically for school governors/ trustees to support them in their roles as they contribute to safeguarding.
You can progress at your own pace, working through the modules listed on the right hand side. For each module there will be some activities to complete. To pass the course you need to complete the knowledge check at the end.
This course does have audio visual elements, so you will need to have speakers or headphones.
