Hello and welcome to this distance learning course. 

This is a self-directed course focused on developing your understanding of safeguarding as a governor or trustee.  This course is inline with Keeping children safe in education (KCSiE 2026). You can progress at your own pace working through the two modules.

This course does have audio visual elements, so you will need to have speakers or headphones.

Once you have finished the two modules you will need to complete the knowledge check to complete the course and earn a certificate.

Please note: This course is funded for anyone who buys into Premium SPA[RK] or standalone Governor Support package with Achieving for Children. Schools who are not subscribing to either of these packages are able to access this course on a pay as you go basis for £25.
