The AC/GC FFA Chapter is combined from the Adair-Casey School District and the Guthrie Center School District. The result of a whole-grade sharing agreement between the Adair-Casey and Guthrie Center School Districts. Since the 2016-2017 school year the chapter has been operating as AC/GC, but under the original charters of Adair-Casey and Guthrie Center.
The Adair-Casey and Guthrie Center Chapters have a long-standing history of providing opportunities for their members to develop their leadership and career skills. The Adair-Casey Chapter was established on December 20th, 1955, while the Guthrie Center Chapter was chartered on January 21, 1948. These two charters have a combined membership of 53 high school students and 6 graduate members who are working towards their American degree.
The members of these chapters engage in a variety of activities such as participating in state and national conventions, showcasing their livestock, and contributing to their community through various organizations. These chapters are committed to providing their members with a range of opportunities to help them succeed in their personal and professional lives.
The members of AC/GC FFA are highly committed to their personal and professional growth as leaders, and they strive to achieve this by actively participating in various activities that help them build their skills and knowledge. Additionally, they are deeply invested in the development of their community, both in terms of economic and social progress.
