Marshall is more than just an amp manufacturing brand. Marshall is a music brand. Jim Marshall's passion for music was the driver for all that he achieved. This same motivation is at the heart of Marshall Records. The label supports musicians to create, record, produce and promote their music. Signed to Marshall are BRIT-nominated duo the Nova Twins, who feature former ACC student, Amy Love.
The aim of the project is to pitch up to 1-2 tracks of your music to a record label. This can be individually, or as a duo or group. There could be an opportunity here for a label to pick up interest in an artist and take it further after the project. Selected pitches will be delivered to TTM on Friday, although proposals can be submitted via the form link below if you are unable to make the Friday pitching session.
Triple Threat Management (TTM) is the project lead and primary label and they will be available on Friday for live pitching. You can also send a pitch to them via the form below.
Submissions will be shortlisted before sending to labels so not everyone will receive feedback.
If you choose one of the other labels, or a BPI or AIM label, then you should record a short video of your pitch, put this on your Google Drive with public access and then send it via the form link below. Feedback from labels will be to selected pitches and will be released from the end of March.
Preparation for your pitch will require critique, selection, refinement/ mixing/mastering of your music. You may use existing tracks/remixes or create something new during the week.
You will then need to carefully prepare your elevator-style pitch to the label. This must be via a recorded video submitted to the link below. Pitches should be around 1 minute in duration.
You will need to back up your pitch with links to your music and any promotional sites.
All sessions will be hosted by Speakers for Schools using Google Classrooms.

Hosted by Game Anglia & Speakers for Schools
A week-long project to create a game.
Game Anglia is a not-for-profit Community Interest Company dedicated to games. It helps the young people and independent game developers get the connections, skills and experience needed to succeed in the UK-wide and international game development industry.
Mediatonic is an award-winning UK games developer and a member of the Epic Games family. They create the mass-multiplayer mayhem of Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout as we are drawing you into the fabulous puzzle mysteries of Murder By Numbers. They strive to connect millions of people around the world through positive, valuable gaming experiences that will stay with them for years.
Over the course of one week, in groups of 5/6, you will create a diorama game with a win condition and upload it to itch.io. The game can be 2D or 3D, as long as it is a diorama game.
A diorama is an artistic, 3D or 2D representation of scene. Dioramas can be applied to any subject area and can take many forms. They can display a scene from a story, illustrate a concept learned in science, or depict an event from history. Dioramas can even be used in professional settings or created for artistic pleasure.
The game needs to be designed to be played and finished on one screen, without screen transitions or multiple levels. Your environment should have a high degree of detail and support interactions with the environment.
For ease of use and in the interest of time, consider:
Having the game’s playing instructions and goal in the itch.io description instead of the UI.
Not building a main menu, this is all about the game.
Those shortlisted to present will be given 5 minutes to do an “elevator pitch” to summarise their designs and ideas. As groups, you will be asked to explain each of your individual roles in the game design project.
Teams can also submit your pitch via a recorded video submitted via the link below.
All sessions will be hosted by Speakers for Schools using Google Classrooms.
