Professional Development Opportunities


As you plan for fall courses, now is a good time to think about new resources and tools you can use in your course. We are offering webinars on a variety of topics to help you prepare. Each session will be offered in Zoom. The link to the sessions is listed at the top of the session list. Webinars with participants will be recorded. If there are no participants for webinar, the webinar may be rescheduled for another date.

In addition to the sessions below, we also offer several online self-paced courses in Moodle. These include:

In addition to the professional development offered here at ACC, the NCCCS Virtual Learning Community offers webinars and training on-demand. VLC sessions are not managed by ACC staff and prior registration is required for these sessions. Stipends will not be provided for participating in VLC webinars. This session will walk you through setting up your gradebook in Moodle to report grades to Aviso. Participants will received step-by-step instructions on how to setup their gradebook based on their syllabus and the settings needed for Aviso.
