Target audience: Faculty, Professionals, Post Docs, PhD students and Masters students. Bachelors students are discouraged from applying.
Fee structure (including 18% GST):
Masters Students: 10000 +18% GST = INR 11800
PhD scholars and Post Docs: 15000 + 18% GST = INR 17700
Faculty (from teaching institutions): 20000+ 18% GST = INR 23600
Faculty from non-teaching institutes, Professionals and Others: 25000+ 18% GST = INR 29500

Prof Sutirth Dey joined the IISER Pune faculty in 2007 and is currently a Professor in the Department of Biology. An ecologist and evolutionary biologist by training, his research encompasses a variety of subjects, including population dynamics, evolution of stress resistance in microbes, dispersal ecology and evolution, adaptation in asexual systems and extended evolutionary synthesis. More information on his research interests can be found on his lab website. At IISER Pune, Prof. Dey teaches a basic course (Bachelor's level) on Ecology and Evolution and an advanced course (Master's level) on Evolution. He has been running the "Biostatistics: A User's Perspective" and "Molecular Biology Workshops" since 2018 and 2019 respectively.

Fees include: Workshop materials, Lunch and light refreshments, API credits (fair use) during the workshop days. Access to various AI tools (see next section).
Excluded: Anything not on the included list is excluded.
Accommodation: Limited seats at the IISER Pune guesthouse have been reserved for participants during the workshop days on payment basis. People who wish to avail the facility MUST say so in the application form. Applicants will have to arrange for their own travel and all other expenses.
