The RHS Library Club strives to connect student readers to one another and through their collaboration and service, help to make improvements to our library, programs, and our school.
Mission: Promote and encourage fellow students to participate in library events and programming, with the goal to increase library use, as well as, raise funds to purchase needed items to enhance library services and environment.

All students and faculty members are welcome. In order to maintain active membership, students must attend meetings (one meeting absence allowed) and participate in at least one activity or event each month of the school year. Failure to do so will result in dismissal from the club.
The Library Club will meet once a month and as needed during specified Club Schedule Days. Meetings will be announced over the intercom in the mornings, posted in Google Classroom, on the school library website, and via social media and communication platforms.

The library club will contribute to numerous projects and participate in various activities throughout the school year. Some examples of activities include:
Banned Book Week, Teen Read Week, National Poetry Month, etc.
Fundraisers
School/Community Service Project
Other promotional events and monthly library programming (Ex: Trivia, Book Reviews, Reading Challenges, etc.).
The Library Club will elect officers in the month of September. The officers of this organization shall be a President, Vice-President, Secretary, and Public Relations Director.
Students will be asked to join Remind 101 to receive updates and reminders and follow the social media accounts of the school and library. Google Classroom will serve as an outlet for information, materials, etc.
