Important Information

My goal is for students to learn in a welcoming environment and that all of their needs are met.  My hopes are that by the end of the year, each student leaves knowing they are ready for 6th grade! Helping our students stay on track with their homework and and reading is a great way to help them reach their goals!

Homework:

Students will be given homework to be completed at home nightly in each subject. This will be in the form of daily workbooks, worksheets, etc.

Please check your student's agenda book nightly to verify that they are completing their assigned homework.

Students should also read for at least 10 minutes nightly. This will help expand their vocabulary and increase their background knowledge on many things as well as help them achieve their AR goals!

Test Papers:

No weekly test papers will be sent home this year. Parents may monitor their student's academic progress 

through the Student Progress Center at https://acadia.edgear.net/progress/. If you would like to review your child’s graded assignments or assessments, feel free to contact your child’s teacher to schedule a conference or appointment. In addition, many classroom assignments and activities are available for viewing through your child’s Google Classroom account.
