Study Law 

The Law Studies course offers middle school students an introduction to the principles and practices of law in the United States, with a focus on the rights and responsibilities of individuals in a democratic society. Through this course, students will explore the structure and functions of the legal system, the importance of laws in everyday life, and the ethical considerations involved in legal decision-making.

Students will engage with a variety of topics, including the foundations of the American legal system, the roles of different branches of government in law-making and enforcement, and the distinctions between criminal and civil law. The course will also cover the juvenile justice system, emphasizing the specific rights and responsibilities of minors.
