One of the first things to do when moving to Delaware is get the change of drivers license or Delaware ID. You will need it for everything.

Transfer of vehicles if bringing a car with you
Vehicle purchases - if purchasing here, this part can be handled through the dealership.
Rent apartment or home (See "Home Sweet Home section)
Begin the process for an apartment or home online. Usually August and September are difficult months to look for one. If you can get ahead and look in the early summer months or right now it is better. Usually if you look in July, you won't find an apartment until mid Sept.

7 Day Farmer's Market on Lancaster Pike - They have a terrific selection of produce as well as many ingredients you can't find in big chain stores, and their prices are AMAZING! You can get super prices on exotic ingredients or more common things (mushrooms, ginger, mangoes, you name it) compared to what I would pay at Super G or certainly Whole Foods.

They have really good local and seasonal produce, and pay fair wages to their staff who are mostly Spanish speaking. They’re family owned and very kind and helpful. They also do CSA/produce share/meat shares which is great-especially if you like sustainable farm raised local meat.
