ACA Holiday Bazaar Overview
This will be our 5th Annual Holiday Bazaar, although there was a 2 year pause between our 1st and 2nd Bazaar due to Covid. This event is a chance for us to connect with our community, give our students an opportunity to be entrepeneurs, and to host a fun, social event. We are gradually building event recognition as we continue to have our event the in December.
Last year we filled all our vendor spaces and even hand to organize more space for the additional student applications we received before our deadline.
Our 2024 attendance was around 700. We’re working hard to provide more advertising and improved networking to continue to grow those numbers.
Vendor Fees support our Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) which provides materials, advertising and parent volunteers.
Bazaar Organizer is Valerie Johnson, ACA Band, Piano & Home Ec Teacher
What kind of products can vendors sell?
We are welcoming a wide variety of handmade as well as manufactured and/or party sale items. Food & beverage items are welcome as well.
We do our best to spread out vendors with similar products or materials so they are not right next to another vendor with similar items. I will also be sure to let vendors know if a similar "product" vendor has already applied, so we don't have 2 Tupperware vendors.
We do reserve the right to refuse any items that seem inappropriate for our school community. If this is the case, I will simply refund your online payment or not deposit your check.
Can I choose my booth location?
There is a place on the application for you to request a "type (corner, end, etc.)" of space and/or your location in the school. You may also request a specific location, but these cannot be guaranteed. Booths will be assigned on a first come basis as we try to space out similar products and honor outlet access and other requests.
Can I share a booth?
Absolutely! You can split the cost and booth with another vendor if you wish. If you do this, please include all of your partner's information on your application as well. (Of, if filling out 2 applications, please be sure they are submitted together.)
Can I purchase more than one booth space for myself?
Yes, you can. We are happy to give you more display area.
What if I have a student crafter?
If you are an ACA parent who has a student crafter to supervise, please communicate with me so we can make special arrangements for both spaces. Hallway locations would be ideal for you and your student.
Amenities, etc.
All booth spaces are indoors.
The Gym & Main Hallway are at street level with our main entrance. We do have an elevator as well as stairs to access the downstairs hallway and cafeteria.
There is a lower level entrance in back as well as a side door to the cafeteria for use doing set up and teardown.
If you need electricity for your booth, circle “yes” on the application. I will do my best to get you access. Bring your own extension cords.
School does have Free Wifi.
Bring your own table unless you have requested a school table and have paid the extra fee. (Notice that available tables differ depending upon which “event space” you would like to be in.)
Vendor Hospitality room with coffee, bottled water, snacks, separate adult restroom and quiet space.
We are working to arrange 3-4 food trucks to be parked in front once again.
Parent & student volunteers (in red aprons) will be around to help you during the Bazaar; deliver food from the food trucks, watch your booth if you need them for a few minutes, etc.
Monthly e-mails will keep you updated once the school year begins.
