Here’s a smattering of photos from our ‘soft launch’ market held May 1st. We focused on the households affected by the Swanson Road fire.

We learned a LOT from that foray, and we expect to keep learning more as we bring these mini-markets (free for all!) to our wider community of Boxborough residents and our neighbors.

But really, the biggest thing we learned was how easy and fun it was to bring a simple free market to life, and how excited we are to widen our circle to more attendees - and volunteers!

Here are some snapshots from our 2024 season! It’s been an exciting time with a lot of new volunteers joining us, and we’ve been able to reach more people in the community. We’re hoping to keep growing and bring in more attendees from outside of Acton and Boxborough as we continue to build a stronger, more connected community.

Even though we’ve had quite a few rainy days this season, the turnout has still been great. Thanks to everyone showing up, we’ve been able to distribute all the food, rain or shine. The dedication from our volunteers and the community has been amazing, and we’re super grateful for everyone’s help. We’re looking forward to what’s next as we keep growing and reaching more people!
