****Pay close attention to the instructions, as they have recently changed. You will first apply for your Youth Employment Identification (YEID). This is NOT your certificate. You will give your YEID to prospective employers. When they enter the number into the NC Dept. of Labor site, it will begin the process to receive the actual certificate. Please read carefully.
