What is the Public Safety Academy?

PUBLIC SAFETY ACADEMY: FIRE FIGHTER AND EMERGENCY MEDICAL TECHNICIAN (EMT) Location: Graham High School Transportation: Provided by District The Public Safety Academy provides students an opportunity to receive North Carolina certifications in both Fire Fighting and Emergency Medical Technology for free while in high school. Students who take the Fire Fighter and EMT courses have hands-on experiences to gain skills to prepare them for certifications required in the field. Students will travel to Graham High School for this program, but they will remain a student of their assigned school. Interested students should seek more information from their Career Development Coordinator (CDC) at their school and sign-up with their counselor.
