Hi! I’m Noelle, I am a freshman here at Southeast. I decided to join the journalism club because I enjoy writing and journalism helps so I am able to freely express myself and others are able to hear my words. Journalism is a great place to make friends and be able to get better at writing. Other than Journalism club, I am also included in environmental club, hope-lift club, and student council. Currently, I am not in any sports, but I hope to join some in the future. Some hobbies I have is that I like to bake, listen to music, and watch different shows/movies.

Finally, I really value the opportunity to build relationships with young people, guiding them not just in history, but also in developing critical thinking, resilience and organization," Rasa said. When asked what makes a good Homecoming King or Queen Kayleigh said it's all about character: “What makes a good Homecoming King or Queen is your character, both in and outside the classroom, always making sure to share a nice face and be kind to others.” “Speaking to someone just to be nice can really brighten someone's day. You never know the impact a kind word can have.”
It’s clear for Coleman that being a Homecoming Queen isn’t about wearing a crown; Being the Queen is about setting an example and spreading positivity. (read more)
