About Me

Welcome to my site! My name is Tammy Troxler and I am a graduate of Alamance Community College and Chamberlain University. I've been a nurse for over 23 yrs, with my background in nursing in Operative Services (OR, PACU, SDS, Endoscopy) and Labor and Delivery. I've been a nationally certified School Nurse for 9 years and as the School Nurse at Williams, my primary goal is to keep your child healthy and safe at school.

I work on keeping your child healthy and safe by training staff on how to respond and provide care for your child's medical needs related to a chronic health condition, injury, &/or sickness. Throughout the school year, as an ABSS CPR Instructor, I assist with providing district-wide training for CPR, first aid, & AED. At the beginning of each school year, I work with our staff at Williams by providing training and support specific to your child's medical needs to enable a better understanding of how to support your child's medical condition. I also regularly follow up with several students to case manage their medical needs in attempts to achieve improved individual health outcomes & academic success.

These forms include: emergency medical plans, medication forms for medication needs while at school, forms for medical procedures required during the school day, as well as diet orders to accommodate any necessary food restrictions.
