October, 15, 2022 - Western Alamance HS Band Festival (7th and 8th Graders) (0900-1100)
This is a mass ABSS Middle School Band to play for the kick off of the Festival

Various Woodlawn Middle School Football and Basketball games as announced

Spring Field trip (Carowinds) - April 20, 2024 (T)

Music in the Parks Festival

Please note: Not all students will go on this trip. Only those who demonstrate they are practicing and positively contributing to the overall sound and quality of the band will get to go. Some after school rehearsals might be necessary as we prepare for the trip.

All-County Band

ABSS All-County Middle School Band Auditions will be held on Jan 08, 2024 from 5:30-7:30 PM at Turrentine Middle School weather permitting. The All-County clinic will be held on Feb 05 and 06 (rehearsal from 1:30-8:00 PM) and Feb 07 (Rehearsal from 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM and Concert at 7:00 PM) at Williams High School. All are encouraged to audition.

All-District Band Auditions

A solo is required to be learned for this audition. Recommend those who wish to try out for this start taking private lessons and begin working on their solo now--its never too early to start preparing for this! All Scales will need to be memorized.

The clinic is taking place on Jan 26-27, 2024 and is held at the Durham School of the Arts, 400 N. Duke St. Durham, NC 27701

DEADLINES: The postmark deadline for Audition Fees and Registration Form Dec 6, 2023 (paid for by Woodlawn Arts Boosters/Mailed by Band Director). Late registrations will not be accepted

UNCG SUMMER MUSIC CAMP
