Meet Ms. Kennedy

My name is Erika Kennedy and I am originally from NY. I attended C.W. Post where I earned Bachelor's Degree in Elementary School and a Master's Degree in Literacy Education.

I moved to Alamance County 18 years ago when I started teaching at AO Elementary School. I have taught 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 5th grade :) 5th grade has been my home for my last 7 years.

I have one son named Brandon who is an 8th grader at Western Middle School and a dog named Buddy. We love to travel and go to the beach.

Please also join my class using the Remind app. The link for the Remind App was sent home in the Meet the Teacher packet. If you need help with this, please email me.

I will be sending out any reminders or important information for our class using this app. This is also a way for you to contact me directly.

Google Classroom

All students and parents will be sent an invitation to join our class Google Classroom. We will be sending these to the parent email address that is in Powerschool. Students will use this daily to get all assignments, feedback from teachers, and grades on assignments. Parents will get a weekly email from this updating them on their child's work.
