Send a thank you note within 24 hours of the interview. Most people don't send notes, so a speedy note will reinforce your interest and help you stand out. Stress your interest in the position and highlight your strengths and positive points. Be sure to send a note to everyone who has interviewed you. The thank you can be electronic or hard copy. Follow up with the interviewer after a week or two (based on the hiring timetable) if you have not heard badk. Follow up shows interest and motivation!
