The Student Council is an integral part of the system which reviews school policies directly affecting the student body. It is also a representative of the students, a direct communication link between the students and the administration and organizes and coordinates school-wide functions such as the hypnotist, spring dance, etc.
Five representatives are elected from each class. There are no academic requirements for candidates. After Term 1, each member must pass, throughout the school year, at least four out of five academic subjects. The Student Council meets weekly to plan all‐school activities and to review school policies directly affecting the student body.
Any member of the student body is welcome and encourages to attend Student Council meetings. If a student decides to participate on a regular basis, he or she can become a walk‐on member.
