Central Idea: Finding out about an issue can inspire people to take action for change.
Lines of Inquiry:
1 . The causes of air pollution (Causation)
2. The effects of air pollution (Form)
3. Ways to prevent air pollution (Responsibility)
We chose to draw this logo to remind everyone to be on the right side, because if people keep polluting the Earth they will have no home, because Earth is their home.
We surveyed Grade 7 about Air Pollution. Here is our survey:
Rayan's Data and analysis:
For our exhibition we did a survey I gathered from the data that not many people know the cause of air pollution, and the people who now aren’t awarding people. There are a lot of people that said that animals also cause air pollution. In fact they actually do but, people have to stop polluting. We all have to be aware about what’s happening in the world. We are destroying our future by our own wants.
Many people said that we could prevent air pollution by recycling, reducing, and by using fabric bags instead of plastic bags… Although people know about all sorts of those things, are they doing anything? No, most people aren’t helping, they know what’s the right thing to do but they are not doing it.
Many people think that it isn’t only humans that pollute the earth. Animals have a part to pollute too. Mostly humans pollute because they build factories, fossil fuel is one of the big causes of air pollution. Also deforestation, because animal's homes are being destroyed and many animals have no homes just because of deforestation. Air pollution is a very serious thing but many people aren’t noticing and for the ones who do they don’t do anything about it, but they still pollute.
For our action we created a board game about air pollution to raise awareness.
