Nǐ Hǎo! 你好！ Hello, I am Lai lǎoshī

Nǐ Hǎo! I am very excited to have the precious opportunity to share my expertise on Chinese language and culture with your child in the coming school year. This is my 7th teaching at Abington. Before coming to Abington, I had taught Music and Choir at Immaculate Conception School at Jenkintown, Choir and Mandarin Chinese at Academy at Palumbo in Philadelphia. I was born and raised in Taiwan, and moved to Argentina when I was 16 years old. After completing the piano performance degree from the conservatory in Bs. As. Argentina, I came to US to pursue the degree in music education and finally earned my doctorate from Temple University.

I began teaching Mandarin Chinese after receiving StarTalk Teacher program on Chinese language teaching training, then I developed a great interest on world language teaching. I hope I can instill the love of learning language in your child by taking this class.
