Greta Garecht, Abington Senior High School’s Career Pathways Liaison, is enthusiastic about

connecting ALL students to opportunities in order to leverage their post secondary paths, wherever

they may lead.🧭🗺🛤   By forging partnerships with local entrepreneurs and businesses, Greta

works to connect Abington students with new and exciting career opportunities within their own

communities and beyond. Greta is passionate about outside the📦ideas, and outside the📦learning

that often takes place outside the four walls of the classroom.🌎💡

Greta has a Bachelor's Degree in English Education from LaSalle University, a Masters Degree in

Library Science from Drexel University, and a second Masters Degree from Temple University, MSEd

in Career and Technical Education Leadership. Greta has 18 years of experience in Education: two

years teaching 7th and 8th grade English, ten years as a librarian for Gateway Regional High School in

Woodbury Heights, NJ, and is currently in her sixth year at Abington Senior High School.

Greta currently lives in Abington with her husband, Don, and their three children, Violet , Desmond,

and Ace. In her (rare) free time she enjoys listening to podcasts🎙, learning to cook󰠉(hooray for

Hello Fresh!), swimming in the ocean🌊, all things fitness💪, and ice cream🍦(because, balance

󰡠✌️).
