So, what is a drum circle, you ask?

A drum circle is an instant rhythm experience for all ages and abilities – no musical experience needed!

Frequently called in-the-moment music-making, drum circle participants sit in a circle and play drums and/or hand percussion instruments.  Participants engage together to create a group rhythm and cooperate in rhythm games.  The circle is moderated by a facilitator who guides the group in rhythms and rhythm-based activities.

ASLC is hosting an afternoon of BINGO on Saturday, May 2, 2026, from 10:30 to 1:30!  Adults and children of all ages are invited (children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult). There will be door prizes, game prizes and a 50/50 raffle.  May is physical fitness and sports awareness month, so we will be donating the proceeds from this event to the Maryland Special Olympics.

Church doors open at 10:30. BINGO starts promptly at 11:00.  Playing card purchase is $2.00 per card.  Each player will be entered into the door prize drawing.  Light fare food and drinks will be available to purchase during the event.
