37th Annual Young Black Scholars Academic Kickoff and College Fair - Saturday, 9/16

This is your special invitation to join other motivated, determined, college-bound youth on your journey to becoming college-ready.

The YBS program is for students in grades 8th – 12th. This event provides an opportunity for new and returning scholars and parents (or guardians) to learn more about the YBS program. Participants are given an overview of the YBS 2023-2024 academic year with motivational speakers, alumni, student and parent workshops followed by a College Fair.

YBS Programs:

  • College Preparation Program

  • Pathways To Success Entrepreneurship Program

  • Junior Investment Program

  • Financial Literacy Program

  • STEM/Technology Program

  • Career Exploration Program

Real Talk: Paying for College

Real Talk is a virtual college exploration initiative designed to connect Black students and families with Black representatives from colleges and access organizations across the country. We empower Black students to own their futures their way.
