ABC Recruitment Process

We welcome applicants from both El Salvador (local) and overseas (expat) for all our advertised positions as well as internal posts. 

New applications should be made through the short 0nline form (above). Please complete all fields which will require you to attach your CV and letter of application. 

Your application will be acknowledged when it reaches our system. 

Long listed candidates will be invited to an introductory conversation with a relevant member of the school senior leadership team. We will get to know you and discuss your application as well as answer questions about the ABC and El Salvador. This conversation will be held through an online platform before the more formal interview process. 

Following this conversation references will be requested prior to short listing.

Online or face-to-face formal interview will take place with short-listed candidates.  If appropriate we will conduct interviews face to face in the UK or at the school for local candidates

Please note as part of the selection process  there may be lesson observation for candidates applying from El Salvador. 

The preferred candidate is sent an informal offer and current school contacted for safeguarding purposes. 

The contract is offered following completion of background checks. 

Please note that early applications are encouraged and the school reserves the right to make an appointment ahead of the advertised closing date should an exceptional candidate be identified.
