As Primary 7 children begin to prepare for their transition to Lochside Academy, they will complete what is called a profile.  Our A.S.G refer to this as a passport.

This Lochside Passport will be part of your child's journey from P7 to S4.

In Primary 7, this will be completed as part of the P7 to S1 transition programme with primary schools and Mr Donald and Miss Skinner.

Children will be allocated an S1 class and will be placed into a Google Classroom where the Lochside Passport will be accessible throughout their journey in the Broad General Education (BGE).

From S1 to S4, this will be continued to be added to through Registration and as part of Personal, Social and Health Education (PSHE).

Children will receive "stamps" to mark significant events or ocassions, including personal achievements.

It is hoped that this approach to profiling enables our young people to ASPIRE and understand the skills they are developing along their journey to reach positive destinations.
