Pupil Support (Curriculum)

By now, senior phase pupils with specific needs will have had a meeting with a member of the Support for Learning team to discuss any potential alternative assessment arrangements (AAAs).

Subject teachers liaise with members of the SfL team, ensuring that arrangements are in place on the designated day and time.

During assessments, SfL staff gather evidence as to the efficacy of the agreed support and therefore are able to review arrangements and make changes if necessary. This robust evidence is later shared with the SQA so that AAAs can be firmly in place before exams.
