Leading up to winter, Prospect 13 a local marketing company raised £3000 to ensure all pupils at Hanover Street School recieved a pair of pyjamas for Winter.

In December, Lifestars hosted their third Careers Fair at Hanover Street Primary School, and what a fantastic day!
From inspiring presentations to interactive fun with incredible companies including Solab IT Services, Prospect 13, Peterson Energy Logistics, Claxton Engineering Services, Aberdeen International Airport, Wood, and Enterprise, the event was a brilliant opportunity for the kids to explore different industry sectors and connect with experts💡

This year, Lifestars have funded a school trip for every class.
Primary 1's visited Windford Farm!
Primary 2 had an exciting dolphin harbour tour!
Primary 2/3 and P3/4 visited the Aberdeen Science Centre!
Primary 4 enjoyed their visit to the Zoology Building!
Primary 5 loved their trip to Alford Transport Museum!
Primary 6's enjoyed learning more about history at the Gordon Highlander museum!
Primary 7's have enjoyed a number of trips this year to celebrate their final year at Hanover Street School. Trips have included going to Lochter, Innoflate and having a final celebratory picnic at Hazelhead Park!

McCall's Highlandwear Hold a Tartan Weaving Competition
Primary 2/3 and Primary 3/4 had an exciting visitor from one of our local community links, Craig from McCalls. They were given the opportunity to explore different types of tartan and kilts. Craig judged their own tartan designs and chose a winner who received a Smiths Toystore voucher, a trophy and some souveneirs from McCalls Gift Shop.
