Our school improvement plan follows a clear Plan–Do–Evidence–Review cycle, ensuring a structured and continuous approach to improvement. Priorities have been directly informed by the recommendations from the HMiE visit in May 2026, alongside professional dialogue and school self-evaluation. Through this approach, we identify key areas for development, implement targeted actions, gather evidence of impact, and regularly review progress. This ensures that improvements are manageable, evidence-based, and focused on achieving the best outcomes for our learners and wider school community.
At our school, everything we do is guided by five important aims to help every child thrive:
Getting Better at Literacy
We support every child to become a confident reader, writer, and communicator.
Getting Better at Numeracy
We build strong foundations in maths so children can solve problems and think logically.
Feedback That Helps Me Improve
We provide clear, helpful feedback so pupils understand how to grow and achieve their best.
My Voice Matters
We listen to our children and value their ideas, opinions, and contributions.
Learning That Challenges Me
We create engaging learning experiences that inspire curiosity and encourage every child to reach their full potential.
Teachers Working Together to Improve Learning
Our staff collaborate, reflect, and innovate to make learning even better for all.
