Our ELC Improvement Plan follows a clear Plan – Do – Evidence – Review cycle, supporting a continuous and responsive approach to improvement. Our priorities are shaped by our self-evaluation processes, observations of children’s experiences, professional reflection, and feedback from our parents, carers and ELC community.
Through this approach, we identify areas where we can further improve children’s learning, play, wellbeing and experiences, implement focused actions and gather evidence to understand the difference these changes are making. Progress is regularly reviewed by the ELC team, allowing us to celebrate what is working well, adapt our approaches where needed and identify our next steps.
This ensures that improvement within our ELC is manageable, meaningful and evidence-informed, with a strong focus on providing high-quality experiences and achieving the best possible outcomes for every child.
Little Leaders, Big Learners
We listen to our children and help them have a say in their learning and our ELC. Our staff work together, reflect on what we do and develop their skills so that we can keep making things better for every child.
Fun Spaces to Learn and Explore
We create exciting, welcoming indoor and outdoor spaces where children can play, explore, make choices and become increasingly independent. We follow children’s interests and provide the right support and challenge to help every child thrive.
We Learn, We Grow, We Shine
We get to know every child and use observations, conversations and assessment to understand their learning and development. We work with children and families to celebrate progress, identify next steps and plan meaningful learning experiences that help every child learn, grow and shine
