APPLY FOR A SCHOOL PLACE
Every Household is allocated place in a particular school Zone. Most children go to their zoned school.
You have the right to apply for a place at any school in Aberdeen City, but if you do not apply for your Zoned School we can't guarantee you a place there. We advise that you apply for both your Zoned School and your preferred school. You can apply to as many schools as you wish.
Applicants who are 'In Zone' are given priority for school places. Check the link below to see which school zone your address lies in.
Follow the link below to the Aberdeen City Council website where you can make an application for a school place. Before you apply online, you will need to set up an account. This is so you can track the progress of your application. You will need to upload documents which provide proof of address and identity. When the application has been completed fully, it is then passed to the admissions team at Aberdeen City Council so attached documentation can be verified. Only once this process has been carried out the application will be passed to the school who will be in touch as soon as possible.
