The Inauguration of the Aashiana Website was successfully held on 30-Aug-09 at 11 AM in the I Block First floor Hall. Mr Ramaswamy, the first resident of Aashiana, did the honors of inaugurating the website which had been his dream project since a few years. All the blocks of Aashiana were well represented. The function commenced with a welcome address by Mr Kailasnath following which Mr. Ramakrishnan (Ramesh), took us through the journey of obtaining the site address (www.aashiana.in) and also explained how the site could be used by the residents. Mrs Vidya Viswanath explained how the mail system worked. The excited audience had many questions which were answered. An action item that evolved was the immediate formation of the core team who would help in the process of using the website effectively.
