Students are able to take up to 2 eSchool classes at a time. This procedure is called cross-enrollment. ESchool classes are academic classes and can be part of the required attendance hours. When students choose to take an eSchool class, their North schedule will be filled in with either an eschool release, privilege, or study hall, depending on their eligibility.
North counselors will not issue an eschool release hour in advance of eschool enrollment. Students must follow their schedule as it appears in Infinite Campus until eschool class enrollment has been confirmed and they receive notification from their counselor that the schedule has been updated. For example, if the start date is scheduled 4 weeks into the semester, students will attend all classes in their schedule until eschool start day is confirmed.
Students must self-register for any eSchool class during the school year or for Summer Interim, on the eSchool website. Students will use their given school username and password to sign in to the eSchool website and request any course. (Over the summer, eschool also provides an interest form for classes)
