On Stage - Ensemble exists and functions as a team

Try your best to perform your best
If you make a mistake or get lost, watch your teacher and keep going
Do not draw attention to yourself while on stage

No talking during or in between pieces
In the Audience - Show respect and empathy
Talking (at a voice level where the person you are talking to is the only one who can hear you)
The only acceptable times to talk (once the concert has started)
During applause
During transitions
When it is not ok to talk
During an ensemble’s performance
During a spoken introduction
Other behaviors
Hands to yourself
Please no screaming or chanting at formal concerts
Applause after a piece is concluded is respectful and appreciated
In general, it is requested that you keep your body still while there is something happening on stage. That being said, if the ensemble invites you to clap/sing/move along, please do!
Electronics should be silenced and put away.
Following these expectations will ensure the best possible concert experience for all ensemble members and audience members! 🙂
