AEVoices Auditions 2024-2025

AEVoices will rehearse on Mondays & Thursdays after school from 3:45 to 5:15.

Worried about your schedule?  You could still audition and indicate conflicts on the audition form.  This way, you are still keeping all options open.

SEMESTER 1 AUDITION DETAILS:  

• WORKSHOPS will take place on the following dates.  (Come to as many as you'd like!)

  • Flex on Tues, Sept. 17, Wed, Sept. 18 & Thurs, Sept. 19.

• AUDITIONS will take place on the following dates.  (Sign up for one 10-minute slot)

  • Wed, Sept. 25 (3:40 - 6:00) and Thurs, Sept. 26 (3:40 - 5:30)

  • Callbacks (as needed) at Flex or after school on Friday, Sept. 27.

  • SIGN UP outside the choir room for your slot!

FOR AUDITIONS, PLEASE PREPARE TWO THINGS:

• SONG #1 | A 30-second solo singing anything that shows off your a cappella solo voice.  

  • You could sing anything from pop / music theatre genre.  A verse + chorus would be enough!

• SONG #2 | Section A, B, and C of "Take Me Home" (Measures 1-25)

• Use these links to practice your part.  You should learn at least ONE part (but you can learn more if you are interested in trying out for multiple voice parts.)
