Dr. Wendy Smythe - is the American Indian Science and Engineering Society's 2019 professional of the year and founder of the Geoscience Education Program in Hydaburg. Below are two lesson plans made in collaboration with Oregon Health & Science University, Portland State University, Hydaburg School District, and the Hydaburg Cooperative Association to implement place-based Geoscience education programing.

Pathway to Equitable Math Instruction (Downloads) - an integrated approach to mathematics that centers Black, Latinx, and Multilingual students in grades 6-8, addresses barriers to math equity, and aligns instruction to grade-level priority standards. The Pathway offers guidance and resources for educators to use now as they plan their curriculum.
