Trash Pollution
This is the artwork I made about recycling. The UN goal is Life on Land. This is to show how trash is killing the nature. There is a plant inside.
Cause:
People do not recycle. Some people might think that somebody else could do it or they just don't care at all!
Effect
If trash is not recycled then it can go to landfills, to the ocean, get burnt, sent into space and all these non eco friendly things. There are also animals who die from eating plastic or lose their habitats. For example, people cut down trees to make paper. Birds live in trees so they lose their habitat.
Solution:
Some countries have started recycling projects like Italy. There are also certain days when a lot of volunteers clean up beaches and/or plant trees! People started spreading the message! Spread it too!

It's A LOT! It's unknown how many animals die on land because of trash. I know that about 100,000 marine animals die from pollution.
Reflection - How do we know if everybody recycles?
If we could convince the government, we can put cameras around the city and have people pay fines for not recycling.
