This page was designed so that you can use the videos as you need. If you already know a bit about using iMovie then you may want to skip the first part. Each video is short and only shows one element of iMovie.

If you feel that something is missing please tell Ms. Hart and she will make a video and add it to this page.

You may need to adjust the amount of time a photo appears on the screen. Watch this video so you can see how to do this.

Sometimes the audio on one part of your movie is too loud or too soft. Watch this video to learn how to adjust this.

This is when you want to adjust where on the photo iMovie focuses when it first show the photo and just before it changes to the next part of the video. So if you want it to zoom in on words or start at one side of the photo and end looking at the other side for example.

* This step is very important if you skip it and then later delete photos from your computer/iPad you will not be able to view your completed movie any longer. *

Backing/Saving Up Your Movies on an iPad

Open iMovie
Click on a Project/Movie
Click on the Export/Send button at the bottom in the middle
Click on Google Drive
Select the folder that you want by clicking "My Drive" at the bottom. Once you have selected the folder, click "Save here"
Now click Upload (top right)
Wait for it! (Wait until the whole thing is finished or it may not back up properly)
Click Close (top left)

* Don't forget *

After you have finalized your movie and saved it to Drive, go back and delete the project in iMovie so that you can save space on your machine.
