Scarlett is a International Baccalaureate (IB) World School as part of the K-12 Ann Arbor IB Pathway at Mitchell, Scarlett and Huron. Scarlett offers the Middle Years Program (MYP). The IB program at Scarlett is for ALL students.

What is International Baccalaureate (IB)?

International Baccalaureate is a research-supported, world wide education program that promotes learner focused inquiry teaching. IB education " aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect." (IBO.org).

The Ann Arbor IB Pathway is focused on the following 5 pillars:

• Inquiry - students asking questions, students finding answers;
• Global awareness - connecting to the local, state, national and international community;
• Action and Service - learning by doing, making a positive impact;
• World languages - all students learning a world language;
