As part of this grant, we purchased over 500 titles by Native authors and/or about Native history. This equated to over 27,000 books for elementary, middle, and high school students and teachers in AAPS, adding hundreds to each school library and more to support liteacy, English, and social studies curricula. The books help amplify and center voices and stories of Indigenous Americans.
