Caffeine Corner

All of these were posted on The Emery's Instagram. I designed the front covers and took all the pictures I used

I have always loved coffee, I usually have at least one cup a day and it has been that way since my sophomore year. I enjoy going to new coffee shops around town and trying unusual but intriguing drinks, and I thought, "Why not share my favorites with everyone?" and that's how Caffeine Corner started. Anytime a new shop opens up in Ann Arbor or Ypsilanti, I am so excited to try their drinks and review them. I am somewhat of a harsh critic, there have been a few drinks I have despised, but for the most part my reviews are very positive. When I was walking downtown one day I met a friend and she told me she had just gone to The Lab Cafe because she saw my review on it and wanted to give it a try. She absolutely loved it, trying their iced matcha latte (my recommendation) and this made me so happy. Next year, when I move to Boston, I hope to continue trying the shops around there and hopefully getting to review them.

I visited the new brunch place downtown Stray Hen Cafe and was not disappointed. The food was very delicious and the coffee was a fair price.

This coffee shop is one of my favorites to visit while I am downtown. While it is a little bit pricy, the coffee and matcha they serve are amazing.

This coffee shop opened up recently on South Universtiy and is a hub for Michigan students. It is the perfect place to study with friends while drinking good coffee.

Comet Coffee is located in Nickels Arcade and is a shop I have only been to a few times. It serves very good coffee and has some of the best prices in Ann Arbor.

This shop opened their second location in downtown Ann Arbor, while their other location is in Ypsilanti. I really loved the staff and atmosphere of this shop.

This shop has the best desserts ever with so many options to choose from. They also serve sandwiches and other light food and good coffee.

This shop does serve good drinks that have unique flavors, but it is extremely overpriced and always very crowded which makes me not want to visit it as much.

This is one of the earlier coffee reviews that I did during my junior year. When I became a senior, I began to call my reviews "Caffeine Corner" and create front pages for the social media posts.
