Hi, I am a Senior at Huron High School and this is my third year taking the newspaper class and working on The Emery. In the class, I enjoy doing just about everything. I like writing, designing pages, and sometimes taking pictures of events. Last year, I started a column called Caffeine Corner where I go to different coffee shops in Ann Arbor and try the drinks and food, and I have continued doing it this year as I love coffee. Next year, I am attending Tufts University where I plan to major in history. My goal is to become a professor. Journalism is something I hope to continue in college because I love reporting and writing articles. At Tufts, they have a satirical and humor publication called The Zamboni, and I plan to join so I can continue to write and make my peers laugh.
