Game dates will be posted the 2nd week of the season.
Practice/tryouts are on Monday, Tuesday and Thursdays
7th grade practices/tryouts are from 3:45 - 5:15 pm
8th grade practices/tryouts are from 4:45 - 6:15 pm

7th and 8th grade games occur on the same day, with 7th grade playing first.
Students will be required to travel home after school and then come back to attend games and practices or they can join a club. They can participate in club activities until it's time to dress for the practice or game.
There will be transportation to away games, but no bus returning to Forsythe. Athletes will need to be picked up after away games.
Please be prompt in picking up athletes after practices and games.

All 6th Graders welcome, no tryouts required.
Practices are two days a week either on Monday and Tuesday.
Practice times 3:45-4:45 pm
6th Grade Girls Basketball is run as an intramural program this year with no games between buildings. We need at least 20 registered participants to make this a great program. There will be a skills assessment completed on the first day of practice. Practice going forward will include 30 minutes of a warm-up and skill building followed by 30 minutes of game play. There will be games consisting of 3 vs 3, 4 vs 4, or 5 vs 5.
What are Intramurals?
Intramurals are an opportunity for students to compete against their classmates in various sports. It is open to all 6th grade girl students. The purpose of the intramural program is to provide fun, safe and structured play experiences that promote the physical, mental and social development of every student.

Students must be able to swim to join the team.
We do have a maximum capacity of 20 students and a waitlist may be started.
Check the Forsythe Middle School Athletics calendar for specific dates and times.
Athletes will need a one piece bathing suit and towel for all team activities. Swim caps are provided and required for the two scheduled meets.
There will be transportation to away competitions, but no bus returning to Forsythe. Athletes will need to be picked up after away games.
