Robotics Club - Registration Closed
Robotics begins Sept 6th.
This club runs for 6th-8th graders from September 6 until the end of November. Our 8th/9th grade team will have information on registration after December (Acceptance onto the FRC 8th/9th grade team has a prerequisite of being involved in FTC Robotics for prior seasons)
There are many parent volunteers and we have increased space so that all who register will have an opportunity to participate. Volunteer Form on Forsythe Robotics Website
Although registration opens every quarter, if you are just joining, you may be starting in the middle of a project. Additionally, some students may not want to see the whole project through and may want to try a different club. Registration helps us keep track of students' participation in clubs throughout the building.
Club Description: This club involves learning about and working with robots. You will be involved in various ways such as the conception, design, manufacturing and operation of the robot.
A suggested $100.00 donation would be much appreciated but not mandatory and this will help pay for competition entry fees and equipment. Find Link for Donation on Forsythe Robotics Website

The three pillars of the game will be exploration, social interaction, and combat. Students will learn the rules of the game, create characters, and role play through each session. Students have an opportunity to learn teamwork, creative writing and character development, and improvisational choices. Above all, role playing games are theater of the mind, and cultivate a high degree of imagination.

Magic is fun to play because you use your imagination, and it's basically a cross between the adult version of pokemon and dungeons and dragons. Magic was the first trading card game produced and continues to thrive. Each game represents a battle between wizards known as “planeswalkers”, who employ spells, artifacts, and creatures depicted on individual Magic cards to defeat their opponents.
