A2STEAM DESIGN CLUB

Are you an artist who enjoys seeing their work in the world? Do you have an interest in graphic design? Do you think that it would be interesting to make art for real world applications? The A2 STEAM Design Center might be the place for you. In this club, we will be learning practical skills, giving and receiving feedback, and competing and collaborating to make professional-level designs for real world clients. The Design Center will kick off the school year with a spirit wear competition and continue to seek other clients in the school community and greater Lowertown commercial sphere. Designers will also have an opportunity to make products to sell at the Winter Arts Market in December.

The Michigan League of Academic Games is an organization of educators, coaches, and other volunteers. We are dedicated to providing a positive learning environment that empowers students of diverse backgrounds to progress academically and socially through a structured competitive tournament setting.
Academic Games is a series of games designed to stimulate and test student knowledge in a variety of subjects. Students develop proficiency and confidence by competing in games of Math, English, Social Studies, and Logic. Through competition students are encouraged and motivated to sharpen their skills in order to gain a competitive edge over their peers. Academic Games makes learning fun!
