Each week, two youth will be highlighted. This will include youth across all districts.
Here are our youth of the week! Ayden and Jaymon!
Ayden is 13 years old. He attends McGregor School and is in 8th grade. He loves to play football, basketball and video games. Ayden is a grass dancer and enjoys going to powwows with his family. He is the McGregor School Senior Brave!! Ayden is a great kid to have in groups. We all enjoy his presence and his willingness to try new things. He is always willing to give a hand when it is needed. We are proud of you, Ayden and look forward to watching you grow and thrive!
Jaymon is eight years old and has four sisters and one brother. He is lives in East lake and is the Gii-Ishkonigewag Jr. Minisinoo. Jaymon attends the Minisinaakwaang Leadership Academy and is in 3rd grade. He likes to play football and basketball. Jaymon also enjoys playing with his cats, singing on his hand drum and travelling new places with his family. Learning Ojibwe and how to drive is a goal of Jaymon's! One day he will go from ninja to the President of the United States! We look forward to watching Jaymon's journey to presidency. This young man sure has everything in him to achieve it. Go Jaymon!
