REPORT

Observations should be reported by one of two methods:

The coordinator could accept videos or images in cases where detecting the occulted object is difficult (for example, if there is suspicion that the analysis of the occultation may have issues due to the presence of lunar glare, bright dark limb, etc.). Images (video, sequence of FITS files, .ser file) can be sent to the coordinator cropped to a subframe centered on the star, of conveniently small size, and packaged in a .tar or .zip file no larger than 50 MB (for larger sizes, contact the coordinator).

The flowchart below shows different possibilities for submission:

orange path: direct submission of images from observer to coordinators (by email or massive file transfer service)

yellow path: submission of light curve (standard method)

blue path: submission of light curve and estimated contact times

Software used in each step (Tangra, LiMovie, PyOTE, AOTA, etc.) are indicated.
