Vision
The Office of Library Media Services envisions school libraries that are the hub of the school and are innovative, vibrant, and flexible spaces, staffed with school librarians who inspire students to become tech savvy and independent life-long readers and learners.
Mission
The mission of the Office of Library Media Services is to develop students who are lifelong readers and effective users of technology and information. We do this by teaching critical thinking, research skills and ensuring access to information resources and literature.
Policies & Procedures
You must have a pass and a purpose when visiting the library. Students without passes will be asked to return to their classroom teacher.
Students may visit the library during STRONG hour. If you wish to ensure a space during this hour, stop by the library and ask for a pass. Space is limited and students with passes are given first priority. A certain number of permanent passes are given each semester to students who demonstrate respect for the library environment.
You may not stay in the library if you have a restricted period in your schedule. Students with partial schedules have signed an agreement with the school to provide personal transportation and leave school grounds to work, internship, and attend college courses.
Please respect the library environment by managing your volume and cleaning up your space before you leave. Thank you!
