THREE STEPS TO COMPLETE:
Both the incoming student and a parent/guardian are requested to attend on of our STEM Registration Nights for Incoming 9th graders:
In person - Tuesday, March 25, 6:30 - 8pm at North County High School
Virtual - Thursday, April 3, 6 - 7:30pm https://meet.google.com/iye-xsxs-mkr
All 9th grade STEM candidates must be officially enrolled before they can participate in any of the summer STEM enrichment activities.
To get started with the enrollment process, first select one of the following situations:
For Students Already Attending an AACPS School:
If your student is currently attending Lindale Middle School or Brooklyn Park Middle School, please complete this Student Registration Documents Form.
If you are currently attending a Middle School Magnet school and NCHS is your assigned magnet high school, (see this link to verify your magnet site is NCHS), please complete this Student Registration Documents Form.
If you are currently attending another AACPS school, and NCHS is NOT your assigned high school, (see this link to verify your magnet site is NCHS), complete the Student Registration Documents Form and return it with TWO proofs of residence. A list of acceptable forms for proof of residence can be found on the registration Google Form linked above and may be submitted as emailed attachments or shared screenshots.
For Students Currently Enrolled Anywhere Else:
If you are currently enrolled in a private school, complete the Online Application for Enrollment (available TBD). This application requires the upload of documentation for residency, birth and immunization. See this link to view a list of Documents Needed to Enroll. In addition, you will be asked to submit a grade report from the middle school program. Students coming from some local private schools may be required to take a test to show mastery of Algebra 1.
If you are currently enrolled in a home-instruction program or online school, complete the Online Application for Enrollment (available TBD). This application requires the upload of documentation for residency, birth and immunization. See this link to view a list of Documents Needed to Enroll. In addition, you will be asked to submit a grade report for the most recent year of the program. Students coming from some home-instruction programs may need to have their grade report validated by the Office of Home Instruction and may be required to take a test to show mastery of Algebra 1 or WCL.

STEP Up to STEM Requirement:
Each incoming 9th grader must participate in our summer STEP up to STEM experience. Families should complete this form to schedule their summer session. Your options are:
7/7 - 7/10
7/14 - 7/17
7/21 - 7/24
7/28 - 7/31
All sessions will take place at Severn Run High School. Families are responsible for transportation.
